Description

Seed for this yummy one to two pound plus pink beefsteak was given to seed collector John Coykendall from a Jack Maderis who lived in the beautiful Smokey Mountains of East Tennessee.  His family had cultivated it for many years in North Carolina.

I have had many requests for this gem of an heirloom and am happy to offer it this year for the first time.

Exteriors are deep rose pink and interiors have reddish flesh.  Large potato leaves capture ample sunshine to give the Queen its sensuous, sultry flavor.

I don't have much seed due to our heavy rains in 2009, so packets are 10 seeds.  Order early.
